Art was featured on the Fox 27 Morning News.  Rob Evans conducted the interview as part of the Artist of the Month series.  Art also performed two songs.  The whole thing was shot at the historic Gilloiz theatre in downtown Springfield, MO.  Thanks to Rob and the whole crew at Fox.  The clips may also be viewed on line at Ozarksfirst.com.

Hey, everybody-
 

The new CD, "Wave" is slated to ship from the plant on May 19th. They should be available at shows beginning on the 21st! Pre-order, and they will be shipped the day they arrive. Price will be $10 plus $5 s/h. (see contact/order page).

 

"Wave" is a 14 track acoustic guitar project. It harkens back to the popular "Dish" CD by virtue of its' inherent simplicity. All songs that I wrote; It includes a blues tune that has appeared for over a decade by request at live shows called "Holy Cow" and an instrumental called "Mulberry Wine". The title song, "Wave", seems to embody the theme of the album. It is love in its' varied semblance's. It is country,bluesy, rythmic and rootsy.


There is a new fan club in the works. The pres. and founder, Sheri is in the process of getting the details together.  Anyone interested in joining can shoot an email to Artbentley3@cs.com and she will contact you with details.

Also- myspace/artbentley is more up to date now. I'm trying to make time for that as well. If you want bulletins and more interaction go there to see what's up.

Also: Thanks to the Victory Mission for making me grand Marshall of their 14th annual Motorcycle Ride and fund raiser.  Their work in the Springfield community is very diverse and quite productive.  I was honored to be a part of that event.
