Subject
To Change is Arts' latest Nashville produced
project. During the recording process- John
Connley (lead electric guitar) got the gig
playing lead guitar for Kenny Chesney. All
songs are written by Art. The first track
"Outlaw 4 I Die" is a comment on the ever
expanding scope of government regulation on
private life in America. The last track
,"Boots", was inspired when a friend of the
Bentley family (Major Andy Ingalsbe) was shot
in Afghanastan. It was widely believed that he
would not survive- but he did. |

This collection is markedly different from Art's last Nashville project. You'll hear more acoustic guitar tracks. Some back to the days of "Dish". No Nashville session guitar players on this project-- it's all Art. |

That
Christmas Time of Year is a compilation of Christmas
favorites accompanied by two Art originals. The Fank
Loesser classics "Baby it's Cold Outside" and "What Are
You Doing New Years Eve?" feature Jazz singer Christy
Merideth. All tracks are acoustic guitar based
and produced by Art in his home studio.
The selections are mostly classics covered by Art in his own style. Two are holiday tunes written by Art.
The entire project is based on the acoustic guitar and is pretty mellow. It's the kind of thing Art hopes you'll have in your Christmas collection for years to come. |
